When Stillness Doesn’t Mean Stuck

Last month, I wrote about what it feels like to be stuck — that frustrating, heavy energy that makes it hard to move forward no matter how much we try.

But as I sat in that space longer than I wanted to, something shifted.

I started noticing the subtle ways life was actually guiding me instead of blocking me.

At first, I didn’t know what to do with all that stuck energy, so I turned toward little things — small projects around my house that felt simple and doable.

Cleaning out a drawer. Reorganizing a shelf. Fixing something that had been waiting for months.

None of it “moved the needle” in my business or changed my big goals. But it gave me something else I didn’t know I needed — a sense of accomplishment and grounding.

Those tiny wins softened the tension in my body.

They gave me grace for the days I wasn’t checking off big milestones.

And now, looking back, I can see those small projects for what they really were: therapy.

They reminded me that forward motion doesn’t always look like a leap — sometimes it’s a gentle return to the present moment.

That quiet time ended up inspiring new clarity and ideas for how I do want to move the needle — but now with more ease, not pressure.

Because stillness doesn’t mean stuck.

Sometimes it’s the pause that lets new direction come into focus.

So if you’re in a slower season, try asking yourself:

What small act could I complete today — not to prove my worth, but to remind myself that I’m alive, capable, and becoming?

Sometimes the smallest movements hold the biggest magic.

✨ Reflection for this week:

What simple act or project can help you reconnect to a sense of ease and accomplishment — even if it’s not “productive” in the traditional sense?
